Princess on Ice

Disney Princess on Ice was in town last weekend, and I knew it was a "must see" for the little princess lovers in my house. So Maggie, Claire and I ventured downtown for some special time together. There were Bengals and Reds games going on that day, so downtown was hopping. The girls were in awe of the buildings, lights, cars and all the people. The show was pure magic! Everything from gorgeous costumes to the fabulous skating was done well. Maggie and Claire thoroughly enjoyed the show and the opportunity to wear their dress up clothes outside of the house. In fact, Claire has insisted on wearing her Cinderella dress every day since!

Fall pictures

Fall is my favorite season! I love the colors, the cool, crisp air and sweaters! Last weekend we went to a park and had some pictures taken. I would have liked more photos of the entire family, but as these things tend to go, there were mostly pictures of the kids. I was happy to capture this moment in time though. We had a rough patch with this whole parenting gig lately. In those times, I tend to focus on just getting through the day and can miss the big picture. I try to stop and remind myself that they are only little once, that they are pure joy and wonder, and that this phase will pass in the blink of an eye. These pictures capture just that.
