Happy Halloween!

We had a busy week full of Halloween activities. On Wednesday, the girls wore their costumes to story hour and paraded through the library. Thursday, my mom's group had Halloween party madness, where there were over 25 kids in costume and hyped up on sugar. Of course, the big event was Trick-or-Treat on Friday night. It was Maggie's first experience with the annual custom and she is quite a fan. A few neighbors weren't home, but she kept up the spirit and would say "nobody home" as we retreated. It took about an hour and a half to hit six houses before she tired out. Granted, some of that time was mom or dad visiting with the neighbors, but there were some long wagon rides between driveways. She scored lots of candy, so all and all, a very successful Halloween night.
