The Jacobs in NEPA

Aunt Julie and cousins Zane and Lia came to visit us in Tunkhannock this past weekend. They are spending part of the summer in D.C. while Uncle Nathan has an internship, so they were in the "neighborhood." Our busy weekend included mini-golf, the Tunk. Founder's Day festival, a tour of the P&G plant, throwing rocks into the Susquehanna, building a bonfire, and of course lots of Nintendo. Aunt Julie watched the girls Saturday night while Peg and Jim snuck out for a coffee date.

Claire was happy to meet her cousins and show off her new smiling abilities. Maggie was especially excited about the hand-me-down toys she received from Lia. The talking, drinking, peeing Elmo was certainly her favorite and helped Maggie learn to say the word potty, which sounds more like "bobby." We'll see if the big red guy helps when it's time to potty train. As always, it was great to have visitors!
